Catherine is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Chadron, Dawes County, Nebraska as I had believed. She is not in the Wright Cemetery in Belle Plaine, IA. You might find two entries for her but she is definitely buried in Nebraska: Find A Grave has a picture of her tombstone.
Her father was William Russell born 1794 in Virginia and her mother was Elizabeth Snyder born about 1805 in North Carolina. Elizabeth’s parents were Abraham Snyder b. 1773 Virginia and died Feb 1850 in Greene Co., Tennessee. He married someone named Catherine who was baptized about 1776 in Virginia. That is all I know about Catherine’s origins.
